Manchester Bag…More than Beans, Feed and Seed

Our team at Manchester Bag was founded with a focus on agricultural packaging but these days they are not just about “beans, feed and seed!” Since 1986 when John Manchester and Doug Steele co-founded the company, they specialized in multiwall paper and woven polypropylene bags for flour, edible beans, feed and seed. As the company grew, they extended their expertise to jute, cloth and PE bags along with other packing supplies sold into the agricultural sector while adding industrial customers along the way. Since being acquired by Material Motion in early 2017 they have added a full line of industrial and packaging products to their core agricultural packaging business and now sell products in 42 states and 5 countries.

Working from America’s heartland in Kansas City, Doug Steele, and Grant Weidman combine over 60 years of experience in the agriculture and industrial packaging space. If you have a product that needs to be surrounded by quality, custom packaging they can work with you from the ground up to build a detailed specification, add graphics, create samples, and follow the order from start to finish.
