FIBC Bag Types
Understanding the A, B, C, D’s of FIBCs is extremely important to determine if the right FIBC is being used in your process and is safe to use in specific manufacturing environments where the ability to manage electrostatic hazards is a priority. Material Motion is here to help you “sort through the static” and identify which FIBC type is the right choice for its intended use. All FIBCs supplied by Material Motion are manufactured in accordance with the IEC 61340-4-4 International standard for FIBC electrostatic classification.

One-loop, two-loop, four-loop, secondary loops, auxiliary loops, double loops, corner loops, cross corner loops, slings, lifting sleeves, stevedores – the lifting loop and handling options for custom FIBCs are almost endless. Based on your bag design and its intended purpose, Material Motion can help you choose which lifting loop options are the most effective and which will provide a safe and efficient means to properly handle your FIBCs. In addition to considering the bag design, we also consider your filling process, storage requirements, mode of transportation and end-user discharge process to determine the best lifting loop design option for your FIBCs.

The ability to consistently & accurately fill an FIBC to its intended capacity in a timely manner is critical to achieving maximum operational efficiency. When designing the right FIBC for your specific application, there are numerous customized filling options that we consider. From a simple open top design to a highly specialized conical top inlet design, we can help you to identify which filling option is best suited to safely and efficiently package your product with minimal operator set up time and minimal hands-on supervision during the filling process.
FIBC Bag Bottom Discharge Options
Ensuring that a filled FIBC can be completely emptied during the discharge process is critical to preventing waste of your high value product. Depending on the design of the FIBC and the outlet spout component, certain products may remain trapped inside the FIBC resulting in a loss of the valuable contents. When designing the right FIBC for your specific application, we evaluate numerous customized discharge spout options. From a simple plain bottom design to a highly specialized conical (anti-bridging) outlet spout design, we can help you to identify which discharge spout option is best suited to safely and efficiently discharge your product with minimal residual product remaining inside the FIBC.
FIBC Bag Liners
Material Motion offers a wide assortment of highly customized inner liners that function to protect and maintain the integrity of your valuable finished product. Specifically formulated co-extruded films, up to 7-layers, are utilized to eliminate any possibility of contamination from outside sources and are designed to maintain the stability of the product inside the FIBC by providing improved OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) and MVTR (Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate) values, leading to extended shelf-life of your valuable products.
