FIBC BULK BAG LINERS
Safeguard your Products with our Custom Liners to Ensure Integrity from Fill to Final Destination.
Material Motion offers a wide assortment of inner liners that work to maintain the integrity and provide protection for your finished products.
Key benefits of using inner liners:
- Protect your product from external contaminants
- Controls moisture from entering into the FIBC
- Protects from oxygen – extending the product shelf life
- Controls odors from entering or exiting the FIBC
- Eliminates leaking or sifting of the product through the outer FIBC fabric and sewn seams
- Helps to manage static electricity
Common Film Types:
- LDPE – Low Density Polyethylene
- LLDPE – Linear Low-Density Polyethylene
- EVOH – Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol Copolymer – Improved OTR properties
- Aluminum Foil – Improved MVTR & OTR properties
- Static Control Liners – L1, L1C, L2, L3 in accordance with IEC 61340-4-4
- L1 Liners are manufactured from materials with a surface resistivity on at least one of the surface layers of film that is less than or equal to 1.0 x 108 Ω. If any film surface layer has a surface resistivity greater than 1.0 x 1012 Ω the liner film must also have a breakdown voltage of less than 4kV. L1 liners should not be manufactured with any internal conductive film layers.
- L1C Liners are manufactured from co-extruded, multi-layered film with an internal conductive layer that has a surface resistivity less than or equal to 1.0 x 108 Ω. If any film surface has a surface resistivity above 1.0 x 1012 Ω the film and conductive inner layer must also have a breakdown voltage of less than 4kV.
- L2 Liners are manufactured from materials with a surface resistivity on at least one of the surface layers of film that is between 1.0 x 109 Ω & 1.0 x 1012 Ω. Any film layer with a surface resistivity below 1.0 x 108Ω must not be used to manufacture an L2 liner. If any surface layer of film has a surface resistivity greater than 1.0 x 1012 Ω, the L2 liner must also have a breakdown voltage of less than 4kV.
- L3 Liners are manufactured from materials with surface resistivity exceeding 1.0 x 1012 Ω. Any film layer with a surface resistivity below 1.0 x 108 Ω can not be used in an L3 liner. L3 liners must also have a breakdown voltage of less than 4kV.
