FIBC Bulk Bags

We deliver the best quality bulk bags, aka Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs), on-time and at the most competitive price. We custom build & stock a wide variety of types (Food Grade, UN Hazardous Duty, Type C Conductive & Type D Static-Dissipative) in multiple locations throughout the US and Canada.

FIBCs generally are manufactured to meet specific requirements of the container users. The height of the container, the diameter and length of the spouts, coated or uncoated fabric, and whether a polyethylene liner is necessary will be specified according to the type of product that will be shipped. The standard filled diameter of FIBCs is 45-48 in., designed to fit two across in a truck or a shipping container.

When hazardous products are shipped in FIBCs, the UN mark for the product is printed on the container body. In the United States the manufacturer or a third party lab will certify the container according to the regulations in Part 178 of the Title 49 CFR.

Material Motion offers the widest variety of FIBC bags, such as U-Shaped, Baffle, 4-Sided, Sling, Circular, Static Dissipative, Groundable, Specialty and Customized.

Material Motion also produces bags with liners glued or tabbed into position. Liners ensure protection of product from the external environment and from potential internal contamination. Liners are available in a variety of types and styles. Please see following page for details.
