To reduce raw materials, we analyze the customer’s specifications and performance standards; and engineer the product to insure compliance with international safety standards. Once we determine the standard and minimum raw materials need to meet the requirements, we can offer alternative designs that reduce raw materials as well as cost.
We design our FIBCs to meet International 5 to 1 Safe Working Load and Ultra Violet Protection performance standards of ISO-21898. And we guarantee conformance to these standards. Therefore all of our FIBCs can be certified for re-use at our AIB Certified, Food Grade inspection and re-conditioning partner facility in Lykens PA. Even Food-Grade FIBCs can be cleaned, re-lined, inspected and re-certified. We also offer cleaned and As-Is used bags to other users.
This is the form of cleaning we use the most. All the equipment in house is custom made to your container at no cost to you. Cleaning is performed using dried filtered compressed air in very high air flow exhausted rooms pulling a vacuum. This method is used on both lined and unlined bags. Quite often after being dry-cleaned the bag then has a new polyethylene liner inserted. Liners can be inserted loose or attached by whatever method you choose (sewing, Gluing, tying etc).
We collect the residual product and it can be returned to your facility if required.
All different types of liners are kept in stock (Tubular, Form-fit, Gusseted and sleeves). We have custom methods for installing depending on the liner type and the features on the container. One thing is for certain we can perform any method you currently use. We can source all liner types.

There are several factors that have to be analyzed carefully to see if a program can even be put into place and whether any savings and cost reductions can be brought to the bottom line. As a company we understand that refurbishing only works when a combination of factors click. This is why we offer all types of FIBC packaging with a vast array of pricing to ensure your packaging costs are kept at the lowest possible. The majority of the time it only makes sense to recycle when you have large customers close to a recycling facility. In today’s market with low pricing of new containers and increasing freight costs trucking has become one of the biggest factors. As you will see and understand refurbishing is not for everyone and only after we study the data can we advise you on the most cost effective way forward.
Because we construct our FIBCs and PP woven small bags with 100% Polypropylene, they can be recycled into other products once they reach their life cycle. In cooperation with our customers, or with their customers (end use), we can establish collection of used bags.
These are just some of the factors in the world of recycling. All accounts and companies are different in their business practices so there is no pricing chart. We would look at the application, quantity, product and build a detailed procedure/quote for your review. A trial order at no charge is recommended to truly see how simple it is to re-use packaging when Material Motion is involved. If your application makes sense to refurbish we offer a service where we visit your customer and educate them on how to use the CRF. Container Return Frame. This ensures that your bags are packaged securely and shipped in a contamination proof cover.
Material Motion has access to thousands of manufacturer over-runs, printed bags, seconds. Over 30,000 are in stock. These bags might not be exactly what you are looking for but at these prices you are guaranteed to save money and reduce packaging costs. The bags are in stock and ready to ship. Samples can be sent via UPS. This inventory changes every week so call in your request and let us get to work.
